MEET OUR SMILE TEAM
A CARING SMILE TEAM
...JUST A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT
We love our jobs – we really do. The Silberman Dental Group embraces the concept of “patient-focused” because we sincerely care about taking care of your overall wellness. To us, it’s all about gaining your trust. You can trust you’ll receive the highest level of care in a safe environment.
Doing What’s Right
We’re not a “drill and fill” practice. This Waldorf dental team’s primary goal is to retain your natural teeth and provide high-quality dental services proven to last.
We’re an open book! Tell us your questions, fears, and desires and we’ll treat you with integrity and respect, addressing your concerns one by one with sensitivity and compassion.
Fun, Sincere, and Caring
You’ll notice a fun and caring atmosphere. We are perfectionists in the care we provide and love it. It’s a fun, loving environment and we show interest in all of our patients just because we care.
We will NEVER rush you into making a decision you’re not comfortable with. We’ll educate you on what to expect, talk you through the process, and put you in charge of the entire procedure.

"Our dental practice is not a team because we work together. We are a team BECAUSE we respect, trust, and care for each other."
Barbara, Practice Administrator | Woman Wearing Many Hats
My husband and I run The Silberman Dental Group as a team. We have been married for 43 years, and I was at the front desk when we first opened in Clinton, MD in 1981. I left the practice when my first child, Joel, was born and returned when my youngest, Lauren, went to college. It is a real pleasure to be interacting with patients again. Some of the patients we see now are the same people who became my husband’s patients when we first opened the practice. Some of our patients I knew as children now bring their children. I enjoy working with the caring team in our office. The team works to complement one another and everyone knows their job and does it well! I feel privileged to work with each member of our team. When not working, I enjoy reading, cooking, taking long walks, and above all spending time with my husband, my daughter, my son when he is in town, and my close friends. My close relationships are my priority, at home and at work. My husband and I are extremely proud of our two children, Joel and Lauren, who should call their mother more often.

"Our patients are like family, and I enjoy treating each one as a special individual."
Sondra, Treatment Coordinator
I work as our Treatment Coordinator. I assist our patients by scheduling their appointments, retrieving their insurance information, and going over individual treatment plans. I always greet our patients with a smile and want to make them feel comfortable and at home. I enjoy catching up with our patients, especially those who have been with us for a long time. I let patients know this is a practice with a family atmosphere and they are part of our growing family! Dr. Silberman and his wife Barbara are always fun and a pleasure to work for. During my time away from work, what I love most is time with my husband and our two boys. I am now also a “Proud Navy Mom” as my oldest has joined the Navy. I love being near and doing anything that has to do with the water or the beach. I am a true blue Dallas Cowboy fan! Dr. Silberman and I have “interesting??” conversations and joke constantly with each other. We both do love our football teams!
"I love working in a profession that helps people to smile more. It is like having a super power! I enjoy working with a team of superheroes! Nothing is more rewarding than that."
Michelle, Treatment Coordinator
My name is Michelle. I am one of the first people you will see when you come into our office. I am here to greet you with a smile, answer your phone calls, field insurance questions, help you understand your treatment options, and then get your treatment scheduled. I have been in the dental field for over 22 years. I spent the first 20 years working in an Orthodontic office but I have made the transition to dental and I am loving it. I am the mother of five beautiful children who are my joy. They have blessed me with seven amazing grandchildren, and I’m looking forward to more!
My life is made complete by spending lots of time with my family and being active in my church. My family and I are very big sports fans and love the Redskins. I think that might be why Doc hired me, as he was being outnumbered by Dallas fans. Here at The Silberman Dental Group, I have found my new home. Dr. Silberman and his wife Barbara not only love and treat their staff like family but they feel the same towards their patients. The honesty and integrity in this practice are rare in today’s world. I have never seen anything like it. I feel so blessed to be a member of such an amazing team!
"I enjoy helping patients maximize their insurance benefits so they can get the care they need."
Erica, Treatment Coordinator
As Treatment Coordinator, I am happy to assist patients with maximizing their benefits. I will verify dental insurance and pre-authorize any major dental procedures. I am a Qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with my radiology license in the state of Maryland. My favorite part of working with Dr. Silberman is when I receive calls from prospective patients with high dental anxiety. I can sincerely assure them that Dr. Silberman will treat them with the utmost compassion and gentle manner. In my free time, I love spending time with my handsome husband, our two hilarious kids, and our sweet dogs.

Stephanie, Certified Dental Assistant, Manager Clinical Team
I am a Certified, Expanded Skill Dental Assistant and work closely with Dr. Silberman. I have been a Dental Assistant for 26 years. I very much enjoy working with Dr. Silberman and our entire team. I enjoy being part of this office very much. I love dentistry and the people I work with on my team. We are a fantastic team. Dr. Silberman is a perfectionist when it comes to his dentistry and I respect that he never will over-diagnose a patient. I have many interests outside of our office, including gardening in my large garden, taking care of and enjoying my dogs, and spending time with my family. I am very close to my sister and niece, as well as other family members. My husband and I love fishing and do so together often. My gardening brings me joy— ask Doc and Barbara and other team members how much they enjoy the tomatoes I bring in for them!

Kayla, Dental Assistant
I have been in the dental field for 10 years. My dental career started when I was just 15 years old, in high school. Growing up I always knew that I wanted to have a career in the medical field, but could never decide which path to take. During my sophomore year of high school I applied and was accepted into the dental assisting program at the James A. Forest Career and Technology Center. I then realized the dental field was exactly what I wanted to do! I have such a strong passion for dentistry and love the relationship I am fortunate enough to build with my patients; we have the best patients!
At The Silberman Dental Group we all do our best to make sure our patients receive the best care possible. We will always go above and beyond to make sure our patients’ dental experience is nothing short of great! I feel extremely blessed to work with such an amazing, erudite Doctor and team!
When I’m not working you can find me at the gym or home, spending time with my family, or at Petco with my four legged, fur baby, Lilly! Lilly is a chihuahua mixed with a pug. Kisses, sleeping, and TREATS make her one happy “Chug!” She even has her own Instagram, so go follow her!
"Be you! Everyone else is already taken." - Oscar Wilde
Natione, Dental Assistant
I am the newest and youngest member of the Silberman Dental Group! I have been in the dental field for a year and a half now. I can honestly say I love everything about my job! I became a dental assistant through study at the College of Southern Maryland and went on to get my radiology license short after completing the program. Although my time here has been short, I am convinced that I work with one of the best dentists in Maryland! Dr. Silberman and the whole team work well together and strive to provide excellent dental care to all of our patients! I am honored to work among such awesome individuals. In my spare time I love to model, spend time with my family, catch up on the latest reality TV, and cuddle with my dog! One thing you won’t catch me watching is a Redskins football game. I know our dental team still loves me even though I don’t have the passion for football! And Barbara says I made a great impression at the interview because Doc hired me even though I have no interest in the Redskins!

Jeni, Registered Dental Hygienist, Certified Dental Assistant
I’ve been in the dental field for over 20 years. I began my career as a Dental Assistant in 1991. After 20 wonderful years as a dental assistant, I decided to further my education and return to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. I enjoy educating my patients on the importance of home care and regular dental checkups. The mouth is the gateway to good overall health, and prevention is the key. As a member of The Silberman Dental Group, I take pride in making my patients comfortable in the dental chair. The practice is very family-oriented, and we want all our patients to feel at home. I enjoy working with such a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor and staff. When I’m not at work, you may see me on a football/baseball field or alongside a basketball court cheering on my two boys while they play ball!!

"Remember dentistry is not expensive... Neglect is!"
Maria, Registered Dental Hygienist
As one of the dental hygienists at The Silberman Dental Group, I am delighted to be a part of such a friendly, professional and welcoming team. I studied Dental Hygiene at Baltimore City Community College and received my B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. As a provider in the practice, I enjoy educating patients on the importance of preventative dental care, including but not limited to the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. I also instruct patients on home care techniques including brushing, c-shaped flossing, and caries prevention. Advances in dentistry are happening every day. I regularly attend continuing education courses to help me advise my patients and add quality to our standard of care at The Silberman Dental Group. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my loved ones. I love the NFL and look forward to Sundays in the Fall to catch all the latest Redskins action!
